Robert J. Saltiel Robert J. Saltiel has served as President and Chief Executive Officer since December 2009 and as a Director on the Board since February 2010. Rob's experience in the oil and gas industry includes leadership roles in general management, operations, marketing and strategic planning for companies that include ExxonMobil, Transocean, Nabors Industries and McKinsey & Company. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Rob is on the Board of the Palmer Drug Abuse Program, a member of the Spindletop Charities Advisory Board, a member of the Southwest Regional Board of the US Fund for UNICEF and serves on the Board of Directors for the National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA).

Senior Vice President Operations
Mac Polhamus Mac joined Atwood Oceanics in February 2011 as Vice President, Operations. In this capacity, he is principal operating officer of Atwood responsible for the overall direction and oversight of worldwide rig operations. He comes to Atwood after nearly 16 years at Transocean in positions of increasing general management and operations responsibility involving both deepwater and shallow water drilling rigs. Prior Mac was a consultant for Sonat Drilling Services, Inc., Triton International and Petroleum Engineers, Inc., and also held various positions with Amoco International Oil Company where he started his career. A graduate of Tulsa University, he holds a BS degree in Petroleum Engineering.
Barry Smith

Senior Vice President, Technical Services
Barry Smith Barry joined Atwood Oceanics in April 2006. He has overall responsibility for Maintenance, Engineering and Atwood's new build projects. He started his career with Diamond M Offshore and then went to Culver Drilling Co. as Maintenance Superintendent. Barry joined Sonat Offshore which is now Transocean where he worked for more than twenty years. In his roles he was responsible for the implementation of the worldwide maintenance system for over eighty-five drilling vessels. Barry has held a Unlimited MODU Chief Engineers License and was an approved DNV and Lloyds Surveyor for the selected rigs.

Senior Vice President and CFO
Mark Smith Mark has served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer since June 2015. He has responsibility for the company’s global financial operations. Prior to this appointment, he served as Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Controller since May 2014 and in other finance and administrative roles since joining the Company in February 2009. Including his service to the Company, Mr. Smith has over 20 years’ experience in the financial, consulting and energy industries including senior management positions in public audit firms, working for Arthur Andersen LLP, PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP and Calvetti, Ferguson & Wagner, PC. Mark holds a BBA and MBA from Baylor University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mark serves on the board of directors of Child Advocates, Inc.

Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Drew Baker Drew joined Atwood Oceanics in February 2011 as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. In this role, he is responsible for oversight of all legal matters related to Atwood. Prior to joining Atwood, Drew served as Vice President, General Counsel of Frontier Drilling. In addition, he worked for approximately 15 years with the offshore drilling company Transocean Ltd. and its predecessor companies, GlobalSantaFe Corporation and Global Marine Inc., in various legal and corporate roles. Drew earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University and his JD degree from The University of Texas School of Law.

Vice President, Human Resources
Stuart Allen Stuart Allen has served as Vice President, Human Resources since April 2014, prior to which he served as Director, Human Resources. He joined Atwood Oceanics in 2008 as the Area Manager – HR Services based in Perth, Australia. Prior to joining Atwood, Mr. Allen held various operations, management and human resources roles at Katanga Mining Ltd. from 2007 to 2008 and at Alcoa World Alumina from 1994 to 2007. Mr. Allen holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Relations, a Post Graduate Degree in Education, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiology and Industrial Relations from the University of Western Australia.
John Gidley

Vice President, Health, Safety & Environment
John Gidley John has served as Vice President, Health, Safety & Environment since June 2014, a position in which he also has oversight of the company’s Quality Assurance and Security functions. John joined Atwood in May 2008 in the role of Director, Health, Safety & Environment. With more than thirty-five years of industry experience, John has worked globally in operations, QHSE and training roles with GE Oil & Gas, Halliburton Energy Services and Sperry-Sun. John’s education and background are in civil engineering, and he holds a Diploma in Safety Management and is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health.

Vice President, Client Relations
Mark Monroe Mark has served as Vice President, Client Relations since February 2015. In this capacity, he is responsible for cultivating and enhancing Atwood’s client relationships. Mark has more than 30 years of offshore drilling industry experience having held senior marketing positions with Transocean, GlobalSantaFe and Global Marine prior to joining Atwood. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Offshore Energy Center and the Advisory Board of Spindletop International and is a member of the IADC (International Association of Drilling Contractors) and SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers). Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Texas Christian University.

Vice President and Treasurer
Evelyn Nordin Evelyn Nordin has served as Vice President and Treasurer since June 2015. In this capacity, she has global responsibility for financial planning, including budgeting and forecasting models in addition to managing capital planning strategies, debt agreements, accounts payable functions and supporting investor relations initiatives. Evelyn Nordin joined Atwood Oceanics in December 2010 as Assistant Treasurer and was appointed Treasurer of the company in January 2013. Previously, Evelyn served in various treasury and financial planning roles at Scorpion Offshore and AT&T. She holds a Masters of Business Administration from Rutgers University and a Bachelors of Science from McNeese State University.

Vice President, Marketing and Business Development
Geoff Wagner Geoff Wagner has served as Vice President, Marketing and Business Development since October 2012, prior to which he served as Director, Marketing and Business Development. He joined Atwood Oceanics in March 2010. In January 2013, Mr. Wagner will assume worldwide leadership of Atwood's marketing and business development activities and organization. Prior to joining Atwood, Mr. Wagner held various positions in corporate planning, marketing and operations management at Transocean, Ltd. and was also employed by an affiliate of ExxonMobil. Mr. Wagner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering and Nautical Science from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and a MBA from Rice University.

George S. Dotson George S. Dotson has served on the Board since February 1988 and was elected Chairman in 2011. Until his retirement in 2006, Mr. Dotson was a Director of Helmerich & Payne, Inc. ("H&P"). Previously he was Vice President, Drilling of H&P and President of Helmerich & Payne International Drilling Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of H&P. H&P is engaged in domestic and international contract drilling and other activities.

Deborah Ann Beck Deborah A. Beck has served on the Board since February 2003. Until her retirement in 2006, Ms. Beck was employed by the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company, where she served in various executive capacities including Executive Vice President Planning and Technology, Senior Vice President-Insurance Operations, Vice President – New Business, and Vice-President of Policy Benefits. Northwestern Mutual is a leading direct provider of individual life insurance and offers insurance products, investment products and advisory services.

Jack E. Golden Jack E. Golden has served on the Board since September 2009. Until his retirement in 2005, Mr. Golden was employed by British Petroleum ("BP") where he served in various executive capacities including Group Vice President. As Group Vice President, he directed significant portions of BP's global exploration and production operations. He is currently managing partner of Edgewater Energy LLC and Edgewater Energy Partners LLC and is also a director of Cobalt International, an exploration and production company.

Hans C. Helmerich Hans Helmerich has served on the Board since February 1989. Mr. Helmerich currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer, as well as a director, of H&P. H&P is engaged in domestic and international contract drilling and other activities.

Jeffrey A. Miller Jeffrey A. Miller has served on the Board since March 2013. Mr. Miller currently serves as the President of Halliburton. Previously, Mr. Miller held a number of positions at Halliburton, including most recently as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He has served as Senior Vice President of Global Business Development and Marketing, responsible for strategic account management, sales and marketing; Senior Vice President of Halliburton’s Gulf of Mexico Region; Vice President of Halliburton’s Baroid business line; Country Vice President for Indonesia; and Country Vice President for Angola.

James R. Montague James R. Montague has served on the Board since June 2006. Mr. Montague is a director of Penn Virginia Resource Partners (NYSE:PVR), Magellan Midstream Partners (NYSE:MMP), and non-executive Chairman of the Board of Davis Petroleum Company, a private company. Until 2002, Mr. Montague served as President of Encana Gulf of Mexico, Inc., a subsidiary of Encana Corporation, involved in oil and gas exploration and production. Previously, he served as President of IP Petroleum Company ("IP") which is engaged in oil and gas exploration and production and as President of GCO Minerals Company "GCO"). IP and GCO are both subsidiaries of International Paper Company.

Phil D. Wedemeyer Phil D. Wedemeyer has served on the Board of Directors since October 2011. In July 2011, Mr. Wedemeyer retired as a Partner from Grant Thornton LLP, an international accounting firm, where he had served since August 2007. From May 2003 to August 2007, Mr. Wedemeyer served with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), including serving as the Director, Office of Research and Analysis, from August 2005 to July 2007 and Deputy Director, Division of Registration and Inspection, from March 2004 to August 2005. Prior to his service on the PCAOB, Mr. Wedemeyer spent more than 30 years at Arthur Andersen, SC, an international accounting firm, including over 20 years as a Partner. Mr. Wedemeyer is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
